Catch up

I am slowly settling into my new normal; The falt mates have headed back to Canada so I decided to use this as an opportunity to do a major clean out and re-organisation.

I have 'pintrested' my flat, making sure everything has it's place. I threw out or donated a pile of junk. But there seems to be a whole lot still here. I feel like a more efficient way of doing all this would be to take everything out of the flat and then only bring in what is really necessary.

There were a whole heap of farewells before they left - and for one of them I attempted my first croquembouche. Just a small one - but it was surprisingly easier than I had thought; will defiantly attempt profiteroles again. Homemade custard is SOO much more tastier than the packaged stuff.

There is a lot of change happening around here, and I can see more in the future. We've already established that I don't like change, so I'm praying that I manage to make it til the end of the year without a melt down :)
I'm being reminded that God listens. He answers, even if it's not quite what you expected.

How about turning on the radio for noise (or an audiobook, or podcast)? Less distracting than TV but still fills the silence.
Good luck for the rest of the year.
