Good gifts from above

The reading at church today was from Exodus 31, part of a series we are doing on the tabernacle.

I was struck by the first few verses of the chapter;
Then the Lord said to Moses, “See, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability and knowledge in all kinds of crafts— to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of craftsmanship.
Exodus 31:1-5

Even though I know all our abilities come from God and creativity is something we can use to honour him, it's the first explicit reference I've noticed in the Bible of God saying that His spirit gifted a person with artistic ability and creativity.

It made me happy.
