Skirt

I have had a few days where I had a bit more time to do fun things. This of course meant sewing some new clothes :).

I went to spotlight with my birthday money and spent a few hours picking and choosing some special fabric. Then I locked myself away in my room and a few days later I emerged with this;

Isn't it pretty? I love the colours and how full the skirt is. When I twirl it goes a bit like this;

Yay!

I also tried making my first blouse. It was a bit of a disaster but I made it with inexpensive fabric cos I knew it would take a while to work out the kinks, but I'm looking forward to making some more that are a bit more wearable.
