One of the most exciting thing I have had the oportunity to do with my little clothing business is to make some flower girl dresses. They are sent off today - and I can't wait to see photos of the girls wearing them!
I used the Sense and Sensibilty regency girls pattern (you have to scroll down a bit on the page to get to the girls pattern) just changing the back bodice a little. The fabric is a lovely cream and white seersucker from Spotlight and I added some lace to the bottom. The bride picked the fabric - and I was a little unsure at first - but I LOVE the way it turned out. Simple and elegant. The pearl buttons add the perfect finishing touch.
